Right, so I’ll be going to Minnesota tomorrow. No internet access there, so I’ll be gone from the face of the planet of the internet as anyone knows it. Or cares.

So here- have some random thoughts and a tag-meme-thing that was given to me forever ago.

I dyed my hair dark red. I’m likin’ it so far, but don’t know if I‘ll keep it.

You know how people over her always complain about English dubbing of anime’s and such? Well, here’s a thought- what if people overseas complain about Japanese dubbing on Disney movies and stuff? HUH? WEIRD, ISN’T IT? Well, maybe not.

I really liked that movie Horton Hears a Who. The movie itself would make Seuss proud (but its fandom is probably making him turn in his grave. Don’t believe me? Type the title in at the top of the page! Go on, I dare you!) But the ending was kind of unnecessary I thought. Here I was, all touched and warm and fuzzy and emotional…and then this random song comes up, and it kinda made me raise an eyebrow and go, ‘Wait…what?’ Everything else was good, though. Also, Katie is the cutest and creepiest little thing, and her lines were the best EVER. Except for maybe those of GLaDOS.

Which leads us to Portal. It’s an AWESOME game- so very unique in its setting and gameplay. (see a demo here: [link] ) GLaDOS is awesome- she’s got some awesome quotes, too. She’s got some real dry, darkly humorous wit for a computer, as evidenced by the trailer. I highly recommend it.

Huh. I guess half of these random thoughts were more like random advertising than thoughts. Oh, well.

Girlish

[x] I love at least one shade of pink. (I wouldn’t say I love the color pink, but I think it’s a nice one.)
[x] I don't like being messy. (I don’t, but I am. Go figure.)
[ ] My belongings are organized. (Org…anized? What, now?)
[ ] I don't like rock music.
[ ] I like wearing accessories all the time. (Ish. No. They get in the way too much.)
[x] Bright colors amaze me. (I like them- they’re a lot better than ALL BLACK, ALL THE TIME. They don’t amaze me, though.)
[ ] I hate black. (Despite my previous statement, I don’t hate black, either. But, if I were asked, I’d have to say that I like brown better. It’s a much warmer neutral tone than black.)
[ ] I go to the salon once a week. (A what?)
[ ] I comb my hair almost all the time. (once or twice a day.)
[ ] I bring my phone with me everywhere (Controversial statement: CELL PHONES ARE A WASTE OF TIME. That, and I just don’t like phones in general- the computer and keyboard are my preferred methods of conversation, along with actual conversation.)

[x] I listen to boy bands like My Chemical Romance, Yellowcard, Switchfoot, Sum 41 (They’re okay.)

[x] I'm too lazy to do chores. (Not so much a matter of laziness, so much as a short attention span and a not-that-good memory.)
[ ] I don't like shopping.
[ ] I like to go bungee jumping.
[ ] I like being sweaty.
[ ] I'm a big fan of marvel heroes. (No, but I know who the main ones are. Like, um…Superman. He’s owned by Marvel, isn’t he?)
[x] I barely wear perfume. or i never wear perfume (It gives me a headache. With the exception of deodorant, shampoo, and bodywash, I don’t like scented things on me. I prefer to smell like a person, not an artificial garden of lilac or whatever.)

[x] I wear glasses. (And they suit me, if I do say so myself.)
[ ] I'm a straight-A student. (I used to be, but now it’s only that way with classes I like.)

[ ] I like my shirt tucked in. (Only if the shirt is short, and most of my shirts aren’t, so…
[ ] My favorite subject is science. (Aperture Sci-ence…We do what we must, because we can. Fooor the gooood of aaall of us, except the ones who are dead. … Um, yeah, I’ll stop now.)
[x] I enjoy reading books. (Always have, ever since I was old enough to walk.)
[x] My assignments are always passed on time. (Most of it, anyway.)
[ ] I correct people with their grammar. (No- that’d be my sister, Sakura-Arte.)

[x] I like listening to metal rock music. (I think it’s funny. I’d take it more seriously if metal rock bands didn’t SCREAM their lyrics- I don’t really call that music, I’m afraid.)
[ ] I have a lot of problems in my life. (Doesn’t everyone? Compared to a lot of other people I’ve known, I got it pretty good! Right now, I don’t think I’d trade it for anything.)
